Delete Your YekMind Account

This page explains how to delete your YekMind account and associated app data.

How to delete your account in the app

You can delete your YekMind account directly inside the app.

To delete your account:

1. Open the YekMind app.
2. Go to Profile & Settings.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Read the permanent deletion and subscription warning.
5. Tap Delete permanently if you want to continue.

After confirmation, your YekMind account and associated app data will be deleted.

What data is deleted

When you delete your YekMind account, we delete your account and associated app data from our active systems, including where applicable:

• account profile information;
• daily check-ins;
• mood ratings;
• notes and reflections;
• chat messages;
• Thought Records;
• Action Plans;
• Behavioural Activation activities;
• Weekly Reflections;
• anxiety, mood, sleep and wellbeing questionnaire responses;
• progress history;
• subscription and message-balance records linked to your YekMind account;
• top-up message records linked to your YekMind account;
• app usage records linked to your YekMind account.

What may be retained

Some limited information may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, app-store, subscription or compliance reasons.

For example, we may retain limited records needed to:

• comply with legal or financial obligations;
• investigate misuse, security incidents or fraud;
• prevent deleted subscription webhooks from recreating deleted account data;
• handle support, billing or app-store compliance queries.

Where retained, this information will be limited to what is necessary for those purposes.

Account deletion and subscriptions

Deleting your YekMind account does not automatically cancel any active subscription through Google Play or the App Store.

If you have an active subscription and do not want it to renew, you must manage or cancel it through the relevant app store.

For Google Play subscriptions, use your Google Play account subscription settings.

For Apple App Store subscriptions, use your Apple ID subscription settings.

Refunds are generally handled by the relevant app store according to its policies.

If you cannot access the app

If you cannot access the YekMind app and want to request help with account deletion, contact:

support@yekmind.com

Please email us from the email address linked to your YekMind account where possible.

We may need to verify that you are the account holder before assisting with account deletion.

After deletion

After your account has been deleted:

• you will no longer be able to access the deleted YekMind account;
• your associated app data will no longer be available in the app;
• deletion cannot usually be reversed;
• you may create a new account later, but previous deleted data will not be restored;
• any active app-store subscription must still be managed separately through Google Play or the App Store.
